Editorial policy
Urban Training Journal aims to make movement in city life easier to think about, with clear wording, careful distinctions and room for different circumstances. Readers should be able to tell editorial material from paid collaboration.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and take care not to present general suggestions as rules for every reader. Where a subject is uncertain, context-dependent or outside our scope, we say so or leave it out. Our articles are written to inform, not to diagnose or prescribe.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept separate from commercial arrangements. Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears, and a partnership does not buy a favourable editorial conclusion. We do not imply that a mention is an independent endorsement.
Corrections
If you spot an error or unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and point in question. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Illustrations are used to support the subject, not as evidence that an event, place or person exists.
Movement belongs in ordinary city life.
A little more movement need not begin with a grand plan. We focus on choices that feel possible in the streets, rooms and routines already around you.
